World Dance Day Celebration with Underprivileged Students at Hyatt Regency Ludhiana

Hyatt Regency Ludhiana’s team concluded their global month of community service with a dance workshop for underprivileged students
Ludhiana (29 April, 2017) – Hyatt Regency Ludhiana celebrated World Dance Day with the underprivileged students of Senior Secondary Government School, Kitchlu Nagar, Ludhiana, who are enrolled under the National Child Labour Project (NCLP) in association with the Innerwheel Club Ludhiana Midtown.  About 130 students participated in the free dance workshop.
Every year, 29 April is celebrated as World Dance Day and Hyatt Regency Ludhiana decided to conclude its global month of community service by sharing joy with the underprivileged students.  Having fun in one’s everyday life is one of the key messages that is given to all employees and associates of Hyatt Regency Ludhiana.  To take this message even further and share the joy of life and having fun, Hyatt Regency Ludhiana organized a dance workshop for underprivileged students with Mr. Gautam Sharma, who runs the Ecstasy Dance Studio in the city.  About 130 students were invited to the hotel, where they were given dance lessons in a one-hour-long workshop.  Employees and associates of Hyatt Regency Ludhiana also joined in to spread joy and happiness in the students’ lives.
Mr. Rajesh Ramdas, General Manager of Hyatt Regency Ludhiana, said, “Colleagues took part with zeal and fervor in each of the activities that were organized for the global month of community service.  We look forward to giving back to society consistently through our corporate social responsibility program Hyatt Thrive.  I consider this to be merely a prelude to the things that we want to do going forward.  We are thankful to Mr. Gautam Sharma for conducting this session, and Inner Wheel Club  Ludhiana Midtown members who associated with us for this noble cause.”
Rtn Alka, Literacy Director of Innerwheel Club Ldh Midtown, said, “We keep organizing these events for our students so that they are exposed to what the world is doing, as it is not in reach of many of them.  We try to do whatever is possible to make them happy.”  She also thanked team Hyatt Regency Ludhiana for taking this initiative.
