Ludhiana — Occupying their well-deserved position as a pioneer in the field of education, MBD Group arranged a gala meet on Sunday at Hotel MBD Radisson Blu, Ludhiana, at which the distributors and sellers of MBD books from all the districts of Punjab had a cordial exchange of views among them.
The meet was inaugurated by Balwant Sharma (Executive Director and National Sales Head, MBD Group), Jawahar Sharma (General Manager, SCM & Sales), Ashish Parashar (Deputy
Branch Manager), Gurdev Singh Parmar (Area Manager, Counter Sales), Ravinder Pathania (General Manager, Publications), Rajeev Sharma (Manager, Publications), Prof. J.P. Mahendroo, Asha Bhanot, Shailja Sangar and Rajesh Kapoor. The officials lit alamp in front of the idol of Mother Saraswati to invoke her blessings.

Speaking on the occasion, Balwant Sharma called the MBD Group a revolution in the world of education and addedthat the books published by the establishment have brought about a new dawn in the world of education in the country as well as in many nations that count in the field of education and knowledge. Christening the MBD Group as the lamp of education, he said that the Group has proved to be a milestone in such diverse fields of education as science, arts, literature, mathematics,technical education and health and hygiene — both at Primary and High levels of education.
Enlightening the august assembly about the future products, he said with a justified pride that Group is shortly launching books on NCERT Solution, JEE MainWorkbook, NEET Workbook and Self-study for the students of B.Sc. Nursing. These books have been prepared, keeping in mind the preferences and standards of the young minds. Reminiscing about the glorious past, he said that it was a fond dream of the founder of the Group, Ashok Kumar Malhotra (ex.
