‘Saab Bahadar’ a combination of Suspense & Thrill

Ludhiana, 22nd May. Who is behind the events unfolding in a peaceful village in Punjab of 1990s? What is the connection between the mysterious deaths?  Well, the mystery behind the murders is set to unfold. With his power of do feesadi danda and atthanwe feesadi dimaag, Policewala ‘Saab Bahadar’ is out to nab the culprits.

Saab Bahadar, starring Ammy Virk in the titular role, is the first mystery thriller movie of Punjabi film industry. The film is presented by Gunbir Singh Sidhu, Manmord Singh Sidhu and Zee Studios. ‘Saab Bahadar’ also starring Jaswinder Bhalla and Kamal Preet in the lead role. The film promises a thrilling experience in an industry that is famous for its comedy productions.

Ammy Virk, who will be seen in a new action and thrill, packed avatar in the film, said, “I have worked in both the comedy and romantic films. I am excited to be a part of this first mystery film of Punjabi cinema. It is always thrilling to attempt something new and it feels great when your efforts are awarded positively. I would request all my fans to watch ‘Saab Bahadar’ as this will open doors for more experiments with the stories in our home industry.”

The producers of the film said, “We have Jatt and Juliet and Sardarji franchise under our banner. We have also produced Punjab 1984. This time we wanted to experiment with a new genre. Jass Grewal’s story provided us with the right opportunity to venture into a new type of storyline. Saab Bahadar is first of its kind of Punjabi film and we would like the audience to accept it just like they have accepted our previous attempts.”

The songs of the film were sung by Ammy Virk, Nachhatar Gill and Sunidhi Chauhan. The other cast comprises of Rana Ranbir, Seema Kaushal and Hobby Dhaliwal.
