DISTRICT ADMINISTRATION STARTS ‘SAMARTH’ DRIVE IN LUDHIANA
-REGISTRATION THROUGH MOBILE SMS FROM 7 TO 13 AUGUST
-INITIATIVE, TO PROVIDE FREE TRAINING AND JOBS TO NEEDY PEOPLE-DEPUTY COMMISSIONER
Ludhiana, August 3 (000)-in order to provide free skill training and jobs to needy people, district administration is going to start the drive ‘Samarth’ in district Ludhiana. Under this campaign, needy and eligible people can get thierselves registered through mobile SMS. Registration drive will be carried out from 7 to 13 august 2017.
While giving this information, Mr. Pardeep Kumar Agrawal, Deputy Commissioner said that district administration has proposed this unique initiative to provide free skill training and jobs in relevant companies to those people, whose annual income is less than 3 lac and 2.5 lac in uban and rural areas respectively. Applicant’s educational qualification should not be less than 5th standard.
Eligible persons, who fulfill these conditions may SMS their names and addresses on mobile number 7009412401. After collecting and compiling of this data, district administration will send it to various training institutes for further due course,’’ he added.
He further said that Executive Magistrate Mrs Swati Tiwana has been deputed to take care of this drive.
